John Grunsfeld is an astronaut & astrophysicist currently on a shuttle mission to fix the Hubble Telescope. Originally from Highland Park, he is the brother-in-law of the stepfather of my longtime best friend Jordan. The Chicago Tribune recently had a big story on him which you can read here.
